so i promised to do a little winter maxi outfit last friday, and i gotta tell ya, it was harder than it looked. sure, my polyvore board made it look effortless, but i had a super hard time trying to find a sweater that was the right length [hit me at the waist] and color [that didn't look stupid with my grey maxi skirt]. in the end, since it was quite warm out, i put on a trusty 3/4 sleeve striped shirt and my chunky knit green infinity scarf to pull the look together.
i'll let you be the judge, what do you think?
[h&m 3/4 sleeve shirt (in stores), bobeau maxi skirt (via nordstrom rack), knit infinity scarf (handmade by a friend), target wedges (you can't see them under the skirt, but they're there)]
i can't say this is my top favorite way to wear my maxi skirt, but i'll give it another shot when i find that perfect [possibly zoe karssen] sweater.
I think you pulled that off VERY WELL! And the foggy background is the perfect setting. :)

I like the maxi skirt on you! I'm jealous because I can never find one that'll fit my shortness unless I alter it. Le sigh. I like the green infinity scarf with the neutrals. :)
