wear it wednesday [boots & spots]

so now that all the festivities are over, i can get to the serious practice of hating this part of winter.

have i mentioned that i dislike winter? i have? great. well i'd like to emphasize my dislike for bone-chilling cold. especially since i always underestimate how cold it will be in the morning. with the wind chill. and how i get daily amnesia about how cold it will be in my office. especially after a holiday weekend. [are you tired of my complaining yet? you are? great, i'll just talk about the outfit now...].

i wore this the week between christmas and new years. and while i felt like a super-stylish dalmation [and very much enjoyed my new zara boots!], the dress was short-sleeved and i froze. lesson learned [until the next time i get dressed].

also how about that lipstick? it's nars pure matte in volga. i love it but it takes a while to get right without looking weirdly clownish or using lip-liner. [oh and it gets on your teeth. hubby pointed that out when i gave him a big smile post-pictures. feel free to groan with me].
