we've been in our house for almost a year and there's approximately 1 room completely done - and that's the baby's room.
i've never really been one for home decor, but the nesting bug hit me hard at about 6 months pregnant and i've been torturing jason with things he had to hang decorating the baby's room ever since.
i think it's finally done. until i change something else [sorry, babe!].
[mesh bumper, aiden & anais crib sheet & blanket, handmade blanket]
[the animal print shop baby animal prints (they're not really crooked, i just can't take pictures, obviously), ikea frames (these are a bitch to hang, but they were $2 each)]
[naomi deluxe sleigh glider & ottoman, manayunk arts fest bunny pillow, ikea map pillow (in stores), ikea blanket (in stores), ikea fur throw (in stores), target curtains (in stores), home goods "eat play sleep" canvas bin]
[ikea shelves (in stores), alphabet wall decor, target lamp (in stores), old navy booties (old), home goods tray, candles, and random lime green elephant, gifted frame & custom made card (thanks ali!)]
[childcraft shoal creek dresser (in jamocha wood)]
[tissue pom pom wall (i ordered these off of etsy, but you can easily just cut these out from tissue paper. also, hint, use blue wall putty and thumb tacks to hang)]
[reading nook! books: gifts (thanks meg!) & various stores, "your birthday is the happiest day of my life" print, "you are my sun, my moon, and all of my stars" print, baby shower card heart print pinterest diy (that's right, i diy'd something)]
[childcraft shoal creek changing table (in jamocha wood), home goods baskets, target mirror (in stores), map garland, ikea elephant]
it's a tiny room, and i was afraid that nothing would fit, but i love it. it's my favorite place in the house.
now we're just waiting for it's occupant. waiting for you, little one.
It looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethank you!!
DeleteWhat a lovely room. I love the animal prints!

thank you! they're my favorite part - especially that bunny!
DeleteI really like how you left the walls white. I keep going back and forth on what to paint the babies room, I want to be bold, but not to bold.
ReplyDeleteLove the animal prints, I'm having my sister paint some for me.
Also did you see that Target is having a 2 for $10 on the Dr. Seuss books? I got some for my "reading corner"

DeleteHello Beautiful Natalie.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been visiting here in so long and I am so sorry about that. I didn't even know you were pregnant (and by now had that beautiful baby of yours).
I absolutely love her nursery with all the pretty neutral colors. The Book shelves and Pom Poms are my favorite, as well as her crib. May she enjoy them all, next to her loving parents!!
