mama monday [a little mama update]

as per usual i've been majorly sucking at blogging consistently. but you know, daylight savings time. [did you buy that excuse? no? ok me neither].

today, i wanted to give you all a quick update on this post. i was in a bit of a fashion funk and vowed to do 3 things:
  1. exercise regularly
  2. organize my clothes
  3. outfit plan 
i'm happy to say i've been doing pretty darn good on all 3 counts.

i started a new workout called the kayla itsines bikini body and i. absolutely. love. it. it's a circuit workout that takes 28 minutes 3x a week [along with some cardio and stretching - i still do my yoga!] and i do it in my little bedroom after lily goes to sleep. not only do i feel about a million times better, but i can see results! i give you exhibit a:

i've also taken the time to weed out my closet and only leave in things i wear regularly. it's not quite a capsule wardrobe, but i'm slowly moving towards that. i'm continually adding things for sale to my threadflip so check it out if you want!

as for outfit planning - i'm still not quite at planning for the whole week, but the night before i have a very good idea of what i'll be wearing the following day. and since my closet only includes things that actually fit me/i love, it's been easier getting dressed!

now if only i started taking outfit pictures again...
