you're looking at my uniform of sorts for the past 2 weeks. and boy, oh boy, comfort is key.
i ended up getting a c-section so it was important to not put any undue irritant [i.e. pants] on and or around the incision area. these gap body drawstring lounge pants are amazingly soft and i can wear them as loose as i want.
you'll also want to invest in some "granny panties". just get them in cute prints - target always has some sweet hanes on sale. so while you may feel like you're back in middle school on your first period, your undies will at least be slightly adorable. [it's the little things!]
get a soft, cotton nursing bra if you're nursing. again, target for the win on inexpensive, yet cute options.
lastly, a soft tank and a zip-front hoodie [easy access to the goods for the baby] that you can whip on and off while feeding or going through simultaneous "omg it's so hot in here" and "i'm freezing, has the polar vortex made it inside our house?" waffling.
i'm hoping to start wearing real clothes again, but until then, you can find me in the rocker, wearing my lounge wear, and the baby firmly planted on one boob.
